Description
Dates, also known as "bread of the desert", provide plenty of energy and many healthy nutrients! Their honey-sweet taste and soft consistency make them a favourite snack for health-conscious people with a sweet tooth. They also add a delicious flavour when used to sweeten desserts or cakes. The Bio Primo pitted dates are of the legendary Deglet Nour" variety, which means "fingers of light".
Tip: Dates also taste great with savoury finger foods. Cut the dates along the length on one side, fill with some seasoned fresh goat cheese, wrap tightly with bacon and briefly fry in sesame or olive oil - an impressively hearty accompaniment to prosecco and frizzante!
