Description
The Original Chyavanprash
- This traditional Ayurvedic product was made according to the original recipe found in classical Ayurvedic texts. It contains ripe alma fruits, vanshlochan (bamboo silica/manna) and a high content in natural herbs, fruits and spices that have been carefully harvested from the Himalaya region as well as other regions in India.
- Amalaki, the fruit of the Amla tree, is the key ingredient found in Chyavanprash. It is rich in vitamin C and balances all three doshas, combining all 5 flavours (excluding the salty flavour). Amalaki is also known for its rare combination of positive properties.
The original Chyavanprash also contains:
- Dashmool: a combination of 10 Ayurvedic roots that soothe all three doshas, especially vata.
- Pippali: the famous Indian long-grain pepper
- Shatavari: a wild, Indian asparagus
- Ashwagandha: contains a high content in unique ingredients and is also referred to as the Indian ginseng
Application:
- Enjoy 1 to 2 teaspoons of Maharishi Ayurveda Chyavanprash as is in the morning or mix with warm milk or water and enjoy during the course of the day.
- Delicious when incorporated as a fruit spread.
