- Curcuma or Turmeric from India is known for its yellow colour. It is used to dye fabric and flavour curries.
- The dried, yellow-brown rhizomes are used for this product. The active substances of turmeric rhizomes are the curcuminoids curcumin I-III and the essential oil with alpha and beta tumerone and Atlanton. Curcuma belongs to the ginger family.
- Provides 400 mg of a standardized extract from the rhizome of the Curcuma longa plant with 95% (380 mg) curcumin.
- Hypo-allergenic, free of yeast, wheat, corn, soy and milk
Recommended use:
- Take 1 capsule daily.
Note: High doses are not recommended for cases of gallstones, jaundice, acute biliary colic and severe hepatic disorders. Curcuma should be kept protected from light.
