Description
The Hawlik 40 Plus organic medicinal mushroom blend contains powder and extracts from 4 different medicinal mushrooms:
- Organic reishi powder (Ganoderma lucidum)
- Organic Agaricus powder (Agaricus subrufescens)
- Organic Cordyceps extract (Cordyceps sinensis)
- Organic shiitake extract (Lentinula edodes)
To produce the powder, the medicinal mushrooms are gently dried and ground using the shell-broken process. This method produces a very fine powder with a grain size of <0.125 mm. The whole fruiting bodies of the mushrooms are processed for this purpose. To obtain the extracts, the polysaccharides are extracted from the mushrooms' chitin shells using a patented extraction process.
- The extracts and powder are then processed into capsules together with vitamin C. They are ideal for people ages 40 +.
