Description
German packaging: Nr. 4 Goldwert - Für Hunde
You can usually see from your dog's skin and coat that it is experiencing a deficiency. For dogs, this deficiency is typically in trace elements as dogs should eat primarily meat. If your dog's food contains grain products, fat or cheap fillers, it may not be getting the trace elements it needs. Since both farm raised meat and vegetables do not have as high of a trace element content as they used to (10 years ago, for example), dogs that eat high quality food may also need a supplement.
Another sign of a lack of trace elements can be the tendency to allergies or susceptibility to infection, as well as fatigue or a drop in performance.
- Zinc is very important for cell regeneration, skin maintenance and skin development as well as the immune system.
- Manganese and copper are indispensable for connective tissue (subcutaneous tissue) and especially for the development of cartilage and bone tissue.
- Selenium is very important for the heart and muscles, as well as physical detoxification via the enzyme glutathione peroxidase. It thus has a major impact on the immune system.
Secondary plant substances increase the effect of the vitamins
Trace element deficiencies are among the most common deficiencies in humans and animals. Trace elements activate special vitamins. B vitamins like B1 or B6 that we get from our diets can only be made accessible to the body if sufficient zinc and manganese are present to act as enzyme activators. Sometimes we might have a deficiency and not know about it.
Secondary plant substances from herbs such as carotenoids, polyphenols and flavonoids can increase the vitamin effect. Flavonoids have a vitamin-saving effect (Schmidt et al. "Guide to Micronutrients", 2004).
Inconspicuous nutrients in our diets often determine our well-being, performance and health.
Nutrients such as trace elements and special phytochemicals have a significant impact on metabolism, cell health, the immune system and the body's overall ability to regenerate. A lack of such nutrients can lead to skin health and hair problems, digestive issues and poor performance, movement disorders or joint problems.
Noxious substances like synthetic substances and preservatives and binders, flavourings and preservatives can also affect the metabolism.
High-quality nutrients for well-being
Supplementing high-quality trace elements in connection with secondary plant substances can quickly support improvement in well being and skin health. In some cases, these supplements can also influence mobility and digestion. A continuous need-based supply of trace elements can lead to an improvement in many chronic problems.
The No. 4 Goldwert is a fine composition of selected herbs that supply special secondary plant substances and highly available trace elements.
Feeding recommendation:
- 1 capsule for dogs 5 to 15 kg (3 times a week)
- 1 capsule for dogs 15 kg, per day
- 2 capsules for dogs 30 kg per day
- 4 capsules for dogs 60kg + per day
Due to the increased trace element content, please do not feed your dog more than 4 capsules per 15 kg per day.
