Taila is the term used in Ayurveda for massage oils that contain herbs, sesame oil and other oils, such as mustard oil, coconut oil or ghee. The complex recipes require several days of careful preparation. During this process, the oil acquires valuable ingredients and the fine energetic properties of herbs. The oil is thus easily absorbed by the skin, unfolding its positive effect on the body.
