This type of natural sisal fibre brush is used for deep exfoliation and skin massages.
They are frequently used dry and this type of rough exfoliation may take some time to get used to, but it is a good way to eliminate dead skin and reveal the fresher, softer skin underneath.
A sisal brush may also be used wet, in the shower, for a slightly more gentle exfoliation.

DIRECTION OF USE: Whether the brush is used wet or dry, it is best to begin with gentle scrubbing until the skin becomes more used to the exfoliation of the sisal bristles, and then start applying more pressure for a deeper exfoliating massage. Because the sisal brush is able to improve circulation, always brush it in the direction of the heart. Use firm and long strokes with circular movements.

If the bristles are too hard for your skin, soak the brush in hot water for 10 minutes.

Be really careful if you have sensitive skin. Avoid eye area. Do not use on demaged or irritated skin.
