Description
The Antarctic krill is an approx. 6 cm long crustacean that resembles a shrimp. It lives in the Southern Ocean, probably the cleanest waters on earth. The small marine animal is considered to be a valuable source of the important omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
